What is Delta 8 THC?

Delta 8 THC is just one of the many, many cannabinoids that are present in cannabis plants. Delta 8 THC (D8) is naturally occurring in trace amounts in hemp and cannabis plants. The molecular structure of Delta 8 THC and Delta 9 THC (most commonly associated with marijuana) is almost identical. That said, the primary distinction that makes Delta 8 THC federally legal (as opposed to Delta 9 THC) is that Delta 8 is derived from hemp and contains less than 0.3% Delta 9 THC classifying it as hemp according to the 2018 Farm Bill.

 

What are the effects of Delta 8 THC?

Given that the molecular structures are very similar, Delta 8 THC and Delta 9 THC interact with the body’s endocannabinoid system in slightly different ways. Everyone’s body is different, but most users report a very focused, euphoric, and uplifting effect to their mood when consuming Delta 8 THC. Consumers often describe D8 as a very functional, focused effect without the anxiety and paranoia that is often associated with Delta 9 THC.

 

How much Delta 8 THC should I consume as a first time user?

If you are concerned about passing a drug test, you should NOT consume Delta 8 THC. The molecular structure of Delta 8 THC is very similar to Delta 9 THC and will most likely flag as positive for THC in your system. How is Delta 8 THC hemp flower created?

The process begins with high quality CBD hemp flower with all of the existing CBD, terpenes, and other cannabinoids present in the plant. It’s imperative that this CBD hemp flower contains less than 0.3% Delta 9 THC to maintain compliance with the 2018 Farm Bill. A layer of high-quality, hemp-derived Delta 8 distillate is applied to coat the flower with the additional cannabinoid and ramp up the effects. Once the distillate is applied, the flower is dusted with a very light coating of CBG kief to lock it all in and create a smooth smoke for the consumer.

All packages are shipped via USPS or UPS. USPS orders are processed within USPS shipping days of Monday-Saturday. All shipping methods are in business days (Monday-Friday).
